About

Built to make budgeting faster.

What is Breadsheet?

Breadsheet is an AI budget app and expense tracker for Android. It lets you log spending by voice, by scanning a receipt, by typing it in, or by asking an assistant - and it keeps your budgets and accounts in order without requiring a bank connection or an account to get started.

The app is local-first by default. Your transactions, budgets, and accounts stay on your device. AI features send only what a single request needs - a voice note, a receipt photo, or a question with a small amount of recent spending context - and only when you use them.

Who makes it?

Breadsheet is made by Irtiqa, an independent app studio. We build focused tools for everyday tasks.

Why we built it

Most budget apps are built around bank connections and automatic import. That model works for some people, but it requires handing over bank credentials and trusting a third party with your financial account access. We wanted to build a budget app that respects the sensitivity of money data - one where you stay in control of what goes where.

The goal was to make manual expense tracking fast enough that people would actually stick with it. Voice entry, receipt scanning, and a spending assistant all serve that goal: they remove friction without removing control.

How AI works in Breadsheet

Breadsheet uses AI for three things:

AI features are opt-in and run only when you use them. Manual entry, budgets, and CSV import and export work without any AI at all.
