What is Breadsheet?
Breadsheet is a budget and expense tracker for iPhone and Android. It helps you add spending by voice, receipt scan, manual entry, or chat. It also includes monthly budgets, multiple accounts, recurring transactions, insights, and CSV import and export.
Transactions, budgets, accounts, categories, and notes are stored on your device without a Breadsheet ledger-sync service. Optional AI features process the information needed for the request when you choose to use them. iCloud or Android operating-system backup may include app data according to your device settings.
Who makes it?
Breadsheet is made by Irtiqa, an independent app studio. We build focused tools for everyday tasks.
Why we built it
Expense tracking is easy to postpone. A purchase takes a few seconds, while recording it often gets left until later.
We built Breadsheet to make that step fit naturally into the day. You can say what you spent, scan a receipt, type the details, or write a short message to the assistant. Voice and receipt results are saved locally and then shown for review. Assistant suggestions stay as drafts until you save them.
The goal is simple: keep the transaction history current enough to make budgets and insights useful.
How AI works in Breadsheet
Breadsheet uses AI for voice entry, receipt scanning, and the assistant.

- Receipt scanning. Breadsheet processes the image, category names, and a short payee list to read the receipt details.
- The assistant. Breadsheet processes your question with a compact summary of relevant spending and a limited window of recent transactions.
These features run after you start the request. Manual entry, budgets, accounts, insights, recurring transactions, and CSV tools use the records stored on your device.
