Delete your Breadsheet account

Breadsheet provides authenticated account deletion inside the app. Signed-in users can also contact support from the email address linked to the account. Account deletion is separate from deleting local app data and cancelling a store subscription.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Breadsheet.
- Open Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, then confirm deletion.
This works for both anonymous and Google or Apple signed-in accounts. An anonymous account must use in-app deletion because it has no verified email address that support can safely use to identify it.
Request deletion outside the app
If you signed in with Google or Apple and cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the email address linked to Breadsheet. Write "Delete my Breadsheet account" in the subject. We will verify that the request belongs to the account before deleting it. We will not ask for your Apple or Google password.
What account deletion removes
- Your Supabase authentication account and linked identity.
- Temporary AI result-cache entries and receipt media linked to the account.
- Sanitized AI usage metadata and Breadsheet's stored Pro status.
- Feedback submitted through the app and linked to the account.
What remains
Your local data remains on the device. Account deletion does not erase the local transaction ledger, budgets, accounts, categories, notes, chat history, or attachments. To erase the active local copy, clear Breadsheet's app data or uninstall the app. An enabled iCloud or Android operating-system backup may still contain an older copy under your device settings.
Apple, Google, RevenueCat, email providers, and security providers may retain purchase, correspondence, fraud-prevention, or legal records under their own policies. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
Breadsheet keeps a one-way deletion receipt for at most 24 hours. It contains the former Breadsheet user ID and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the deleting session, not the access token itself. This briefly blocks late receipt-image uploads and lets the same session recognize a completed deletion if the success response was lost. It is then removed automatically.
Cancel a subscription separately
Deleting your Breadsheet account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings to stop future renewal. Deleting the app also does not cancel a subscription.
Revoke Sign in with Apple access
Account deletion removes Breadsheet's Supabase account, but existing Sign in with Apple users should also revoke Breadsheet manually. In your Apple ID settings, open the Sign in with Apple apps list, select Breadsheet, and stop using your Apple ID with the app. Apple's labels may vary by operating-system version.
