No. Breadsheet does not connect to your bank. You add spending yourself, by voice, receipt, keypad, or the assistant, which keeps you in control of what gets recorded.
You can use the free plan without signing in. Sign-in is required to purchase Pro and helps keep your Pro access available after reinstalling the app or moving to another phone.

Voice entry sends the recording and a small set of category and payee hints. Receipt scanning sends the receipt image and the same type of hints. The assistant sends your question with a compact summary of relevant spending. These requests are sent only when you use the feature.
